CRESTVIEW — A 26-year-old woman was arrested after deputies found an active meth lab adjacent to a room with two young children.
According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Christina Blair Russell was arrested after telling deputies she allowed five to 10 meth cooks to happen at her home with a 4-year-old and 2-year-old present.
Deputies had gone to the Godfrey Street home to serve Russell’s husband, Allen Rhinehart, with a felony arrest warrant.
When deputies arrived, they found stripped lithium batteries, pseudoephedrine blister packs and a Coleman camp fuel container, along with a hydrogen chloride gas generator. A burned “one pot” also was found.
Inside the laundry room of the home deputies found bottles of suspected meth lab-type items. Russell was charged with conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine and child neglect without great harm.
