CRESTVIEW — Local nephrology practice, Pensacola Nephrology P.A./The Kidney Group, is rebranding itself as The Renalus Center for Kidney Care.
The practice, made up of nine physicians, delivers services including treatment of chronic kidney diseases, dialysis, hypertension and anemia, as well as consultation for transplantation and second opinions.
In 2000, Pensacola Nephrology P.A. acquired The Kidney Group of Crestview and Fort Walton Beach. Both practices have served the Florida and Alabama Gulf Coast for more than 15 years.
"Over the past several years, we’ve grown our practice to serve the growing need for kidney services and kidney education," said Patricia Breeland, chief executive officer. “We wanted a name that was unique, memorable and represented our commitment to kidney health and education.”
Renalus focuses on delivering nephrology and kidney-related patient care to the Gulf Coast communities of Crestview, Pensacola, Milton, Fort Walton Beach and surrounding areas.
