Baker School's Macie Wilde hurled a no-hitter from the pitching circle, and the Gator offense capped off the first inning by sending 11 hitters to the plate and scoring six runs as Baker cruised to a 10-0 win on Friday over District 2-1A opponent Jay.
The game was called, after five innings, on the 10-run rule.
Wilde allowed only three Royals to reach the base with walks and struck out three while not allowing a hit on the night. She improved her record to 6-2 on the season. Wilde also helped herself at the plate by leading off the game with a triple down the left field line.
She later scored the first Baker run off a bases loaded RBI single from Mykayla McCranie. Wilde went 3-for-4 on the night at the plate with two RBI and two runs scored.
McCranie added an RBI in the bottom half of the second inning, hitting a solo homer to left and adding a single in the fourth to finish the night going 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.
Tori Foster went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Holly Stanley, Jenna Stevenson, Jordan Linzy, Ashley Black and Courtney Ellis each had one hit and one RBI apiece. Kaitlan Godwin scored twice.
With the win, the Gators improved to 7-3 overall and 3-1 in district play.

The Lady Gators opened the week by defeating the Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphins Tuesday night by a score of 10-4.
