CRESTVIEW — Rainy and wet conditions have forced the cancellation and postponement of several area baseball and softball games.
LaurelHill Schoolbaseball Coach Ronnie Smith confirmed in a text message that the Hoboes' home opener with Paxton scheduled for 5 p.m. has been postponed. The game has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. on April 10.
Daily News sports writer Seth Stringer reports that Niceville High School softball Coach Danny Hensley said the game between the Eagles and Crestview High School scheduled for 6 p.m. at Niceville has been moved to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
As of 1:45 p.m.Crestview High Schooll baseball Coach Tim Gillis confirmed that Crestview's District 1-7A game at Navarre scheduled for 7 p.m. is still set to be played.
Baker School athletic director Matt Brunson said the baseball game between the Gators and Central High School scheduled for 6:30 p.m. has been moved up to 4 p.m.
