College announces changes to summer enrollment process

NICEVILLE — Northwest Florida State College is introducing an all inclusive open enrollment period, starting with summer term, to simplify its registration process, a spokesperson said.

The new period expands registration dates, allows new and current students to enroll anytime during the entire enrollment period, and opens web and in-person registration simultaneously for students at all seven college locations.

The process also expands web and in-person enrollment for classes offered at NWFSC’s military centers to anyone with base access.

The summer enrollment term will be April 8 to May 8 for NWFSC Session 1 and 2 courses, with open enrollment through June 20 for Session 3 courses.

Session 1 classes are May 9 to Aug. 2.

Session 2 Fast Track is May 9 to June 20

Session 3 Fast Track is June 21 to Aug. 2.

The summer schedule for more than 700 classes, available in a searchable format, is at www.nwfsc.edu/schedule. It will be available in printed format in the community in mid-March.
