Man found guilty of cooking meth in Crestview motel

CRESTVIEW — A 31-year-old man was convicted Thursday of trafficking methamphetamine while staying at the Hilton Motel.

Joshua Ray Little is scheduled to be sentenced May 8 after a jury found him guilty of trafficking more than 200 grams of methamphetamine, according to a State Attorney’s Office press release.

Little was arrested Aug. 5 after law enforcement was tipped off that he was actively cooking methamphetamine in a room at the motel.

A search of the room revealed multiple items used to make meth as well as a container with more than 200 grams of the narcotic.

Judge Michael Flowers will sentence Little, who faces a maximum sentence of 30 years and a minimum of 15 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.

The case was investigated by the Crestview Police Department and Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
