CRESTVIEW — A shopping event/animal shelter fundraiser takes place Friday at Warriors Hall.
The Shop and Support Spectacular will feature 28 vendors selling Mother's Day gifts, event organizer Lisa Brennan said. Items will include handbags and jewelry. There will be food, wine tasting and a dessert bar, along with an auction.
A portion of proceeds will benefit the Kind Heart Kennel, which takes in pets of those seeking shelter after they leave an abusive domestic situation.
The kennel is the first of it's kind in the county, Brennan said.
A $2 entry fee or a donation of dog food or pet toys is required to participate.
