CRESTVIEW — A 24-year-old man was charged with careless driving after he caused a wreck on State Road 85 late Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Joshua Charles Ray of Crestview was entering southbound SR-85 from Auburn Road about 4:50 p.m., the FHP reported.
Ray pulled his sports utility vehicle into the path of an oncoming pick-up truck that was also headed south.
The sides of the two vehicles struck each other.
Ray and the one-year-old baby in the car with him were not injured, according to the FHP.
The other driver, Anthony Russel Long, also of Crestview, was taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center. The 43-year-old suffered minor injuries.
