Man stabbed Saturday charged with domestic violence

CRESTVIEW — A 45-year-old man who was stabbed Saturday night has been charged with domestic battery.

Christopher A. Paris was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola after he was stabbed by his 13-year-old son during a fight with his wife, according to a Crestview Police press release.

The stabbing occurred about 9 p.m. at 801 Aunt Polly Place. Paris had punched his wife during an argument and knocked her to the ground when the boy grabbed a knife and stabbed Paris in the shoulder, the release said.

Paris did not suffer any life threatening injuries. After he was released from the hospital, he was taken into custody by the Pensacola Police Department and transported to the Escambia County Jail.
