Events venue opens in Crestview

CRESTVIEW — The View has a new Vue on Industrial Drive with the grand opening of a banquet, events and cabaret venue.

The former Ms. B's Bar-B-Que and Bakery has reopened as The Vue, a three-room facility with space for receptions, dinners and parties.

"It was hard work," co-owner Charlotte Collins said of the building’s renovation. "We wanted to do something special for the community."

Collins and co-owner Spring Myers took the name from "the View," Crestview's nickname among some military members.

Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce President Karen Hardell welcomed the business, at 1001 Industrial Drive, to town.

"Thank you for investing in our community," Hardell said during The Vue's May 10 ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The former Ms. B's kitchen became the Banquet Room, while the bakery is now the V.I.P. Room. The Main Hall, which features a sound system, dance floor and D.J. booth, was the main dining room.

The business offers dancing, theme music nights and cabaret acts Thursdays through Sundays.
