Golden-Davenport earns Thomas University master's degree

A record 335 students graduated from Thomas University during its 58th commencement May 4. Rochelle Ann Golden-Davenport of Crestview, was one of them, and accepted a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.

Golden-Davenport was also inducted into the Rho Chi Sigma chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, or CSI, during her attendance at the college. To become members, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have completed at least 12 hours in a graduate counseling program.

CSI is an international counseling, academic and professional honor society with a mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership, advocacy and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.
