Crestview man charged with gas station burglary, criminal mischief

CRESTVIEW — A man faces armed burglary and criminal mischief charges following a gas station burglary.

On July 7, Christopher Allen Jeter, 23, a Crestview resident, allegedly broke into the Ritz 1 gas station, setting off the alarm.

When officers arrived at the scene at 11:29 a.m., they saw a white male inside the business. As they approached, he fled on foot and was quickly captured.

Jeter, armed with a large kitchen knife, according to a police department press release, was arrested and taken to the Okaloosa County Jail.
