CRESTVIEW — The Crestview High School Class of 1983 will reunite this weekend and relive three decades of memories.
When they proceeded into Bulldog history, Kenny Rogers' "Through the Years' was the class song and the Big Red Machine had 100 members and three tubas.

"The Crestview Bulldogs experienced their best three-year record in the history of Crestview High School: 27-3 regular season (over three years) and back-to-back District Champs and Regional Runner Ups," reunion co-organizer Carolyn Smith said.
These and other memories will be revived Friday and Saturday, when more than 60 members of the 234-member class that graduated June 3, 1983, regroup for the first time in 10 years.
The reunion begins with an informal mixer Friday evening at Hideaway Pizza on Main Street. A family picnic is Saturday at Gum Creek Lodge in Baker. The class’ main event is Saturday evening at the Elks Lodge on Okaloosa Island.
The expected 60-70 attendees at the Hideaway mixer is "the most we ever had for a Friday night event. I was kind of freaking out."
Smith requested that class members notify others of the reunion, and that all interested in participating notify her in advance so organizers can plan to have enough food available.
