The website facilitates interaction and dialogue among growers, researchers, extension agents and others to advance organic and sustainable agriculture; matches farmers and farmland owners with beginning farmers seeking land or guidance; and provides the nearest organic farms and farmers market locations, details on pesticides and organic food and cooking.
FOG also features a statewide calendar of events and encourages organizations to post events and happenings.
