NWF State College EMT program achieves national recognition

Fire Science Online has chosen Northwest Florida State College’s EMT program among 80 U.S. institutions providing the best return on investment to emergency medical technician graduates.

“We are extremely proud of this distinction,” said Barry Reed, Emergency Services director. “Our faculty and staff work very hard each day to make sure that our students are prepared when they graduate and go out into the field. We train people every day to save lives, and we take great pride in the fact that our students are so successful when they leave our program.”

Fire Science Online’s list recognizes institutions with affordable tuition in states where graduates earn high-wage jobs. The website used national salary, tuition, enrollment and accreditation data to identify programs with the highest return on investment.
