23 NWF State graduates eligible for state EMT exam

CRESTVIEW — Northwest Florida State College has recognized 23 students who successfully completed the college's fall technical certificate program for emergency medical technicians.

North Okaloosa graduates are Alexandra Echols, Amanda Wahl, Anthony Romero, Colby Cook and Roger Riley, Crestview. Wahl received the EMS Hearts & Hands award for her professionalism, compassion and positive attitude.

The program is a competitive-admission single semester that provides students with extensive clinical experiences.

Graduates are now eligible to take the Florida State and National Registry EMT exam.
