Be Scam Smart, a series of workshops for senior citizens, is being held statewide.
The first workshop is 10 a.m. Jan. 28 at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium, 4530 Spikes Way, Milton.
A second session is 10 a.m. Jan. 29 at Warriors Hall, 201 Stillwell Blvd., Crestview.
Learn what to look for if a scam is suspected, as well as how the scams work and what steps to take if you are scammed.
The sessions are part of Operation Stop Adult Financial Exploitation. The effort aims to inform, empower and protect residents from financial scams and fraud.
