Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers officials visit Civitan members

Officials from the Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers organization were recently invited to speak to members of the Crestview Civitan Club about the benefits of the anonymous tip line to residents of both Okaloosa and Walton Counties. CRESTVIEW — Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers officials recently explained to Crestview Civitan Club members how the anonymous tip line benefits Okaloosa and Walton County residents  A cash reward of up to $3,000 is given for tips resulting in arrest and conviction.

In coordination with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office school resource officers, the program also has added a Student Crime Stoppers venue that can offer a $500 cash award for fruitful tips. The tip line can be reached at 863-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-654-TIPS.
