This certification is achieved through successful completion of a rigid experiential background application and a four-hour examination prepared by the JMCC and AJA.

McQueen has served in the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections since 2005, leading the Support Services Division the past two-and-a-half years. McQueen is an FDLE-certified firearms instructor and assists the department in the annual training of certified officers.

McQueen holds a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a master's in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida.
