Airline company recruiting pilots at March 28 open house in Pensacola

PENSACOLA — Silver Airways is currently recruiting professional first officers to join its growing flight operations team. An open house for qualified pilots is March 28, with a presentation and interviews at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at  Hyatt Place Pensacola Airport, 161 Airport Lane, Pensacola.

The regional airline is offering a signing bonus of up to $6,000.

Bring the following documentation:

•FAA Certificate – Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. 

Silver is a Part 121 carrier and all pilots are required to have a minimum of 1,500 hours or 1,250 hours if from an accredited university.

•    Log book

•    Two forms of identification (passport, driver’s license)

•    Current 1st Class Medical (with 1st Class Privileges)

•    FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

•    Three copies of current resume

•    Professional attire

Silver currently has pilot bases in Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Tampa, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. (Dulles).  Base availability is subject to change and is awarded by seniority.  Applicants must be willing to accept any base according to operational needs.
