The United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties needs information on children’s summer programs for its 2014 Children’s Summer Fun Guidebook.
The book provides information on safe, fun and educational daytime summer activities for children. June, July and August programs for youths ages 4-18 are wanted. April 4 is the submission deadline.
Send a general description of programs you wish to have listed, including dates, times, costs and items the children may need, via postal mail, Attention: 2014 Summer Fun Guidebook, 112 Tupelo Ave., Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548; fax, 243-6625; or email events@united-way.org.
Okaloosa schools' last day before summer break is June 5. The free guidebook will be available May 1. Participating libraries and businesses will help distribute copies. Call United Way, 243-0315, to request a copy or download from www.United-Way.org.
