CRESTVIEW — Sparks flew when 2013 Baker School alumnus George Price tested for his first job out of college.

Now he works for the same school district that helped nurture his career ambitions.

After demonstrating his welding prowess — developed by his grandfather, Lonnie Price — on March 17, George became one of three Okaloosa County School District Maintenance Department welders.

For him, it’s a lifelong dream.
