Man allegedly trespasses, threatens officer and officer's family

Lee D. Dupere

CRESTVIEW — A 27-year-old man — arrested for trespassing June 12 and allegedly threatening the officer and the officer's family — has a July 8 court date.

Lee D. Dupere was sitting outside a Crestview business when officers were called, according to the arrest report. Dupere, of Crestview, had previously been issued a warning for trespassing at the business.

He told officers that he was there to get a loan for a car and was aware that he had a trespass warning, the report said.

When Crestview officers arrested him for trespassing, he became violent, according to the report.

The officer wrote that Dupere said "he was going to get a gun and kill me and my wife if he ever seen me again."
