VALPARAISO — A Heritage Alive! craft class — beginners basket weaving — starts Aug. 16 at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.
Instructor Lou Holt will teach students to make a paper plate basket. Attendees can learn a new skill, experience an age-old tradition and create something uniquely theirs, a spokesperson said.
The class, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., costs $35 — $30 for museum members — and includes all materials.
