NICEVILLE — The Northwest Florida State College Foundation is calling for nominations for its 2015 Alumni Awards. All nominations for the 2015 awards are due Feb. 1, 2015.
Nominees may be selected from Okaloosa Walton Junior College, Okaloosa Walton Community College, Okaloosa Walton College or NWFSC graduates.
There are four categories:
•Distinguished Alumni Award, for a person who is a true success story in a state or national area.
•Against The Odds Award, for one who has achieved success despite adversity.
•Rising Star Award, for a person younger than 40 who has a success story with potential for achievement in a state or national arena.
•Hometown Hero, for one who has achieved success within nominating college’s district and demonstrated notable community involvement.
Award recipients will be recognized Aug. 21 at the NWF State College Foundation Annual Dinner.
