Purple Heart chapter recognizes nursing program

NICEVILLE — The Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 811 presented Northwest Florida State College's nursing program with a Legion of Excellence Award.

Each Purple Heart chapter can nominate an organization or entity for the prestigious award.

The MOPH also honored Dr. Beth Norton and Dr. Teresa Ryan, the nursing program's professors, for their leadership and service to veterans.
