Wheelock named Trustmark branch officer

CRESTVIEW — Trustmark National Bank announced that Laurin Wheelock has been named branch officer at the Crestview location. Wheelock, who is the branch manager, has more than 30 years' experience in the financial industry.

As branch manager, Wheelock manages and provides training for branch associates, and conducts branch meetings and performance appraisals. She develops and maintains a quality business development program, and increases market share and profitability for the branch.

Wheelock earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Resource Management from Troy State University.

Her community involvement includes serving as ambassador for the Crestview Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Crestview Main Street Association. In addition, Wheelock is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Crestview, a past president of the Old Trail Spanish Trail Festival Society and a past president of the Network Referral Source. 

She has received numerous recognitions throughout her career, including Top Community Banker and Crestview’s News Leader Professional Business Woman’s Civic Leader Award.
