CRESTVIEW — The Crestview Police Department has arrested a 15-year-old juvenile in connection with a vehicle burglary last night.
The juvenile was observed inside a vehicle in the Redstone Ave area; when approached by a witness, the juvenile ran from the area but was located a short time later by Crestview officers, according to the CPD.
The juvenile was found to be in possession of several items that were believed to be stolen from other vehicles in the area.
The juvenile was charged with burglary to an automobile, possession of stolen property, theft, in addition to being reported as a runaway from the Holt are.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
The CPD encourages everyone to please lock your vehicles and remove all valuables.
