BAKER — Brooks Taylor scored a game-high 22 points to lead Baker School’s boys basketball team to a 46-43 win over Jay in the District 3-1A tournament opener.
The Royals made a late charge at the Gators but Taylor finished off his big night with a pair of free throws with 1.3 seconds left in the game to seal the win.
Baker takes on Chipley on Friday in the tournament semifinals. The game will be played at Northview.
