Crestview police seize more than 1,600 grams of meth oil

CRESTVIEW — Two people are in jail and more than 1,500 grams of methamphetamine oil are seized following several months' investigation, according to the Crestview Police Department.

Gregory Allan Foss Jr., 31, and Erica Marie Hughes, 35, were arrested Friday on a variety of drug charges and booked into the Okaloosa County Jail about midnight. They are charged with trafficking in amphetamine, unlawful possession of listed chemicals and possession of marijuana.

Foss also is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for alprazolam, methadone, Ecstasy and buprenorphine, according to a CPD news release.

The CPD's Special Enforcement Team executed a narcotics search warrant at a Panama Drive home and discovered 1,689 grams of methamphetamine oil in four cooking vessels on the property. They also found 177 pills from different manufacturers containing pseudoephedrine, a listed chemical, the release said.

Police also found 9.27 grams of marijuana, 10.5 pills of alprazolam, 26 methadone pills, six Ecstasy pills, one suboxone patch containing buprenorphine and $2,433 in cash, the release said.
