The team will play May 15-17 at the Southeast Regional Championship in Tallahassee and will then move on to the state Youth Basketball of America Tournament, set June 5-7 in Fort Myers.
The Lakers placed second in the May 2-3 Emerald Coast Classic in Panama City. The championship games took place against OTBS from Tallahassee, with the Lakers winning 35-32.
"In the final game, your Lakers played their hearts out against the Gulf Coast Stingrays," the spokesperson said.
