Crestview police seek leads about vehicle burglaries

CRESTVIEW — The Crestview Police Department is investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred between June 5 and June 8.

One of the vehicle burglaries occurred on Apple Drive; the other two took place on Edgewater Drive and Holland Street. 

On June 5, a 2014 Ford F150 pick-up truck was reported stolen from a residence on Apple Drive.

In every case, the vehicles were left unlocked; in the vehicle theft, the keys were left in vehicle along with several thousand dollars worth of fire fighting equipment. 

"We are asking the public to please lock your vehicles and secure your belongings," police said in a statement.
