CRESTVIEW — Twelve Northwest Florida residents, including a Baker man charged with 25 counts of child pornography, are in jail following an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office two-month investigation.
The OCSO received numerous citizen complaints about street-side sale of illegal narcotics in Sylvania Heights (near Fort Walton Beach), Carson Drive (Fort Walton) and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Crestview.
"Operation Still Watching," a warrant round-up of narcotics and violent offenders, was conducted with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations' assistance.
Arrests include:
Conrad Franklin, 42, Baker: 25 counts possession of child pornography
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office in Fresno, Calif., noted an email address that received images of child pornography. Following an investigation, which included verification of the email user's identity through a subpoena to CenturyLink, the OCSO executed a search warrant at Franklin's home and he reportedly admitted to receiving the pictures and videos.
Michael T. Goodwin, 45, Pensacola: possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia
Elizabeth L. Warner, 57, Fort Walton Beach: possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia
Darian K. Caldwell, 22, Fort Walton Beach: possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
Markell V. Bush, 21, Fort Walton Beach: possession of cocaine with intent to sell, sale of cocaine
Jeffrey Rodgers, 24, Fort Walton Beach: sale of cocaine
Marion A. Moore, 49, Niceville: possession of listed chemicals to manufacture controlled substance, manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine over 14 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia
Kevin M. Forrest, 34, Crestview: possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
Tyrone Davis, 46, Crestview: possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a place of worship
Robert J. Nelson, 28, Crestview: felony violation of probation original charges: possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, driving while license suspended
Michael P. Owen, 31, Mary Esther: aggravated battery, violation of a domestic violence injunction
Timothy M. Anderson Sr., 56, Fort Walton Beach: possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
