CRESTVIEW — The United Way of Okaloosa-Walton Counties has partnered with Wal-Mart and Publix to provide school supplies for local children.
Supporters can shop at Wal-Mart and Publix, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday through Aug. 15, to donate school supplies.
"It is easy to help … just purchase school supplies for your children and/or a little extra for others," a United Way spokesperson said. "Use the list of items required by schools and drop them in the 'Cram the Van” or pass them to volunteers at the entrance.
"United Way partner agencies will collect and sort the supplies, then distribute the needed school supplies to local children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
Drop off supplies July 18 and Aug. 8 at Crestview's Publix or July 25, Aug. 8 and 15 at Wal-Mart.
