Society for Human Resource Management launches a Northwest Florida student chapter

FORT WALTON BEACH — The Society for Human Resource Management's Emerald Coast Chapter announces a new student component. The National Human Resource Management has approved Northwest Florida State College's Student SHRM as Chapter 5746.

The student program, created in 1965, promotes mutually beneficial interaction between Human Resource Management students and practitioners.

Those inducted into the new, local student chapter are: Darius Paul, founding president, JR Lewis, founding vice president, Ashley Zaleske, founding secretary, Lauren Duke, founding secretary, Laura Donnelly, founding treasurer; and Deanna LaJeunesse, Brittany Zifzal, Steven Lee, Theresa Missler, and Shelly McDonald.

The Society for Human Resource Management is the world’s largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management with over 275,000 members in 160 countries, according to a media release.
