Crestview dance studio wins regional Better Business Bureau award

CRESTVIEW — The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Crestview has received the Better Business Bureau Foundation of Northwest Florida's Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.

The award, which covers District 2 and Okaloosa and Walton counties, recognizes businesses and charities that ethically conduct business.

Award recipients:

•Demonstrate community involvement

•Practice customer privacy protection

•Ethically advertise

The Crestview studio — which has been doing business since 2007 — is accredited by the BBB and holds an A+ rating.

It has received numerous awards for community involvement. Some include the Covenant Hospice Community Business of the Year Award for 2012 and Development Award for 2011, and the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce's 2013-2014 Business of the Year award.

"At our studio, we strive to provide outstanding customer service and positive community relations," a Fred Astaire Crestview spokesperson stated. "We encourage our staff to volunteer in the community and to give back.
