'Safety Training Secrets' workshop set next month in Niceville

NICEVILLE — The Association for Talent Development's Emerald Coast chapter will host CEO Steven Cohen next month for a half-day workshop.

"Safety Training Secrets" — scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 8 at Northwest Florida State College's Niceville campus — will provide hands-on experience with:

•Effectively kicking off a safety event

•Teaching a few universal safety activities that will work in all industries

•Developing post-training support

Cost is $25 for members; $40 for non-members; and a $100 special offer for a group of three non-members.

Cohen is the cofounder and CEO of Meyvn Global, a contemporary training consultancy with roots in the mining industry. He has logged thousands of hours focusing on developing those in an organizational setting.
