CRESTVIEW — Two men were arrested the morning of Aug. 26 in Crestview when the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant this morning at 598 Fifth Ave.
Investigators were notified the address was being used for the sale and use of controlled substances, including crack cocaine.
Vernon Maurice Lee, 59, unlisted address, and Charles Howard Coleman, 55, of 215 Oglesby Ave., Crestview, are charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigators say the location was a public safety concern because it is directly across the street from a licensed home daycare and within a block of Richbourg School.
