NICEVILLE — Northwest Florida State College's Advanced Technology and Design Department will host Manufacturing Day 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 on the Niceville campus.
Manufacturing Day is an annual event held on the first Friday in October at manufacturing facilities and educational institutions across the nation. The goal is to showcase the potential of modern manufacturing, and foster interest in manufacturing careers.
The NWF State College event will include an open house, along with a tour and informal presentations and demonstrations, highlighting programs such as CAD, graphics, 3-D printing, machining, welding and electronics.
