Northwest Florida State College film club to view 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'

NICEVILLE — The Northwest Florida State College Film Club soon will view its third film.

The group will watch "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo," 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12 in the Mattie Kelly Arts Center film classroom number 328, building 110, 100  College Blvd., Niceville.

The meeting starts with introductions and nomination of the next film. The movie begins just before 7 p.m., followed by a discussion. There will also be free food and prizes. Bring your friends.

The film — based on a trilogy by the late Swedish author Stieg Larsson — tells the story of a discredited journalist and a mysterious computer hacker, who, while working to solve a 40-year-old murder, discover that even the wealthiest families have skeletons in their closets.

It is rated R for disturbing violent content, including rape, grisly images, sexual material, nudity and language.
