Northwest Florida State College sets Military Priority Day

NICEVILLE — Active-duty military members can register for spring 2016 classes at Northwest Florida State College and learn about an array of benefits.

Military Priority Day is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.

Benefits include:

●No college fees.

●10 percent military discount on all textbooks purchased in the Barnes & Noble bookstore on the Niceville Campus.

●Priority registration and financial aid assistance.

●Free tutoring and access to the VetSuccess on Campus Center.

●Flexible class selections including online, hybrid (online and traditional) and traditional classes at one of the college's six locations.

In addition, military personnel receive free admission with their military ID for themselves and their family members to the Raider basketball games at Raider Arena that night.

The women's game against Daytona State College is at 5:30 p.m., and the defending national champion men's team plays Richard Bland College at 7:30 p.m.
