CRESTVIEW — A Crestview resident has earned American Welding Society's Howard E. Adkins Memorial Instructor District Award.
Northwest Florida State College teacher Scottie Smith, of Crestview, was presented with the award recently for District 9, which covers Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle.
