BAKER — The Academic Team at Baker School is celebrating its third-place finish following the Oct. 24 St. Mary Middle School Academic Tournament. Twelve teams, including Davidson and Shoal River in Crestview, competed.
Results for the first tournament of the school year, held at St. Mary School in Fort Walton Beach, are as follows.
Varsity:
●First place, St. Mary School, who won all 10 of their matches
●Second place, Ruckel Middle School, 9-1
●Third place, Lewis School, 7-3
Junior varsity:
●First place, Lewis School, 8-0
●Second place, Ruckel, 6-2
●Third place, Baker School, 5-3
