Jeffrey Tambor appearance at Northwest Florida State College arts center cancelled

A Mattie Kelley Arts Center appearance by actor Jeffrey Tambor, scheduled Jan. 26 at Northwest Florida State College, has been cancelled

NICEVILLE — The Jan. 26 appearance of actor Jeffrey Tambor at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center has been cancelled.

Tambor — who has new Los Angeles commitments due to his hit show, "Transparent" — is discussing a possible rescheduling with Northwest Florida State College officials, but no firm date has been set.

Patrons who have purchased tickets to either of the Jan. 26 NWFSC events with Tambor may request a refund from the center's box office, or have the value of their ticket applied to another purchase.

Box office representatives will contact patrons in early January to process the refund or credit. The in-person and phone box offices are closed Dec. 17 to Jan. 4 for the holidays.

The center's online box office is open for the entire holiday break, and tickets for all 2016 events are available at www.MattieKellyArtsCenter.org. Tickets purchased over the holiday break will be sent to patrons in early January or may be picked up from the box office starting Jan. 5. Call 850-729-6000 for details.
