NICEVILLE — The Northwest Florida State College Foundation will accept nominations for its 2016 Alumni Awards until Feb. 1.
Locals can nominate an alumnus of Okaloosa-Walton Junior College, Okaloosa-Walton Community College, Okaloosa-Walton College or NWF State College for these categories:
- Distinguished Alumni Award: Alumnus who is influential in a state or national arena.
- Against The Odds Award: Alumnus who has achieved success despite adversity.
- Rising Star Award: Alumnus who is under 40 years of age and has potential for achievement in a state or national arena.
- Hometown Hero: Alumnus who has achieved success within the college’s district and demonstrated notable community involvement.
All award recipients will be recognized Aug. 26 at the NWFSC Foundation Annual Dinner.
