3 Crestview services Purl Adams helped pioneer

Purl G. Adams, inset, was instrumental in getting utilities added to the city. Crestview had been paved less than 10 years when this early 1940s photo was taken. Adams and city leaders devised a method to obtain Works Progress Administration funding for the paving project.
