Northwest Florida State College set a Feb. 5 meeting to review applications for the college’s next president.
The Northwest Florida Daily News placed an open records request and found that more than 130 people have applied for the position. Applicants come from as far as India and Turkey and as close as the local universities.
“We are looking for a visionary and dynamic leader,” said Brian Pennington, chairman of the board of the trustees. “We are looking for experience.”
