Symphony of Taste coming to Mattie Kelly Arts Center

NICEVILLE — Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra's annual Symphony of Taste Food & Wine Festival is coming up.

According to a Northwest Florida  State College media release, "food samples from a variety of area restaurants will be available, accompanied by over 50 different wines from around the world, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and a silent auction. Musical entertainment will be provided by local jazz favorite Sean Deitrich." A silent auction is also planned.

The event is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at the Student Services Center on NWFSC's Niceville campus.

Tickets are $40 in advance, and $45 at the door.

Festival proceeds provide underwriting for the professional Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and funding for the orchestra's youth music education programs and performances.
