CRESTVIEW — There's a second Crestview winner of the H&R Block “A Grand in Your Hand” contest, in which 1,000 customers across the country daily received $1,000 checks.
Customers who entered the contest had to file their taxes, and have them accepted by the IRS by Feb. 15, to be eligible for the prize.
Wayne and Ethel Pitts of Crestview — pictured with tax preparer Elaine Morgan, right — plan to use the money to do something special in April for their 34th wedding anniversary.
Joseph and Blanca Farran won the promotion last month.
