VALPARAISO — The Heritage Museum now offers tours exclusively for home school families.
Hours are 1-2:30 p.m. starting May 17.
Educators will focus on the Native American and pioneer periods in Northwest Florida, and students will reinforce the lessons by making their own pinch pot.
The tours meet kindergarten through sixth grade the Florida education standards and are offered as an education resource specifically for Home School families.
Students must register in advance. Cost is $7 per student, with one free parent or teacher admittance per family. Cost for children 4 and younger is free unless they want to participate in a hands-on activity. Cost for that is $3 per child.
